A NEW KIND OF FESTIVAL COMING TO GOONDIWINDI
24 days of celebrating Goondiwindi’s food and fibre scene is coming to town for the first time this May.
If you haven’t been to the Goondiwindi Ag Show before, this is the perfect opportunity. The Discover Farming Festival starts the first weekend in May with our very own pavilion at the Ag Show. Have a quick glimpse at Goondiwindi’s most innovative technology and set your taste buds alight with some of our local produce.
Not to mention, have a look around the sheep, wool, chicken, art, craft, cooking, camp drafting, show jumping, sheep dog and ag sections to see what Gundy is made of.
But our first weekend doesn’t end there. Travel on the Southern Downs Steam Railway from Warwick and experience a unique two-night weekend escape in Goondiwindi. Explore Inglewood and Toobeah in a different light. Drop into their local pubs, have a beer, talk to some of the well-known characters and enjoy locally grown produce from the region.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to take a quick look around our farming communities, or just occupy the littlies for a while!
