Jerome is the face of our event, he is our Event Coordinator.

Ask Jerome about technology in agriculture (especially in the Goondiwindi region) and prepare for the most energetic, excited and lengthy answer ever!  His enthusiasm is infectious and his goal is to see Goondiwindi known as the Ag-Tech capital of Australia.  Jerome is the Co-Founder of InFarm, a drone and agriculture artificial intelligence company.  InFarm recently won the Ag Force innovation of the year, for their drone to tractor fallow weed detection platform.  Jerome also has extensive experience filming aerial footage, having produced footage for the Discovery Channel and Warner Bros.

Rebecca is our Finance Officer.

Bec is in touch with our local and regional farmers on a daily basis.  She lives and breathes the industries that encompass our region and is passionate about getting positive farming messages out to a wider audience.  Bec has been in a support role for farmers for many years, and her down to earth and approachable nature coupled with her “get in and get it done” attitude has lead to lasting relationships.

Bruce is our Secretary.

Bruce has been involved with the agricultural sector in the Border Rivers for over 30 years, with a particular focus on irrigated production. Now retired, he specialised in opportunity identification, strategic planning and organisational development. He continues his long term involvement with community organisations, which have included Goondiwindi & District Tennis Association, the Lions Club of Goondiwindi, Goondiwindi Botanic Gardens, Kaloma Home for the Aged, and Gateway to Trayning. Bruce was an Alderman on Goondiwindi Town Council in the mid ‘90s.

Sarah is our Education and Training Officer.

Sarah has been organising to get our regional schools involved in technology and agricultural events during Discover Farming.  When she is not working for Landcare Sarah is busy on the farm assisting to run the family business Karbullah Poll Merino.

Georgie is one of our Event Coordinators. Georgie is Goondiwindi’s newest Social Media Specialist.Before moving to Goondiwindi in 2017, Georgie spent five years in Sydney specialising in digital communications with Meat & Livestock Australia and the digital marketing agency, ‘Switched on Media’. Georgie is excited to use her digital skills to help showcase the region’s agricultural success.

Tracey is our Branding and Marketing Coordinator.

Tracey runs a full service design agency in Goondiwindi, specialising in branding, print and web design.  She is passionate about creating opportunities in regional communities and sees Discover Farming as a real opportunity for tourism and agriculture to combine forces and leverage agri-tourism as a major business in our region.  Tracey and her team will bring Discover Farming’s vision to life both in print and online.

Megan is our Council Representative.

Megan has a background in Project Management.  She is an accomplished and dynamic leader with proven success in driving innovation and excellence.  Her role with GRC is to support the growth of local events and having both Megan and the Mayor’s support behind Discover Farming is a huge asset to making this event a reality.
